Making a strong start to the new pension system |
With a new pension system being introduced within a few short years, the pension landscape is facing an unusual situation. The changes will also affect you, as a pension fund member. For the years ahead, our principal goal is to make sure that every one of our members can make the strongest possible start under the new pension system. This will require changing our policies to make allowances for the relatively short time remaining until the new system is introduced. This is very unusual for a pension fund: normally speaking, we look at the long term. The Board of Trustees has made a number of decisions about how we will invest your pension savings (our investment policy), how we will increase your pension during the coming years (our indexation policy) and how much pension our working members will accrue. You can read an explanation of the reasons for these decisions, and what they mean for our members. Jasper Kemme Managing Director |
