A higher pension in 2022 |
We ended 2021 in strong financial health, with our policy funding ratio at 125.8%. This is good news for our members: in April 2022, we will be granting full indexation on your pension. Full indexation means that we will raise our members’ pensions: by the same amount as wage inflation for all active members and by the same amount as price inflation for pension beneficiaries and non-contributory policyholders. And that is not all. During the past 11 years, we have not been able to grant full indexation, if any indexation at all, on our pensions. This year, we can grant compensatory indexation to make up a little of the indexation that was foregone during that period. Jasper Kemme Managing Director |

Care for investments |
We believe that we should take proper ‘care’ of our investments. This means that we monitor our investments not only for the returns that they yield, but also for social aspects. We do this by instructing our asset manager to talk to companies that fall short on those aspects. An account of our efforts is published on our website every calendar quarter. |

Pension Planner based on 1.65% pension accrual |
Every year, you accrue pension on part of your salary. The accrual rate for 2022 and 2023 is 1.65%; in previous years it was slightly higher at 1.85%. For two years, calculations in the Pension Planner will be based on the lower accrual rate. As your pension accrual rate for 2024 and beyond is uncertain at this time, calculations for 2024 and further years will be based on the maximum accrual rate of 1.85%. |
