Latest developments concerning your pension fund
Our members on the new pension system |
In 2026, as a result of changing legal rules, we will switch to a new pension plan. More and more of our members are aware of this, according to the annual member survey that we conducted in the spring. The survey also revealed that our members have more confidence in their future pensions, although some concerns remain, as well as uncertainty about how the new plan will affect each of our members personally. Although we will only be able to tell you more about those effects shortly before we make the switch, we will use the period leading up to then to provide you with as much detail as possible about the new pension plan and what progress we are making with our preparations for implementing it.
Visit the ‘New rules for pensions’ page on our website to find out the latest information and for answers to your frequently asked questions. We will update that page regularly to answer new questions that will undoubtedly arise during the period ahead. We also invite all our members to join our panels and share their thoughts on our communications during the switch to the new pension plan.
In the meantime, I hope you have a wonderful summer!

How will pensioen accrual work under the new rules? |
Although much will stay the same, you should also expect some important changes. Members will build up personal pension savings, for example, and the investment policy will be linked to age. Watch the video for an explanation by Anita Joosten, our Director of Investments, of how the new pension rules will affect active members.

Check your Uniform Pension Overview |
You can see your Uniform Pension Overview in MijnPPF. It shows how much pension you had accrued by 1 January 2024. It also contains other information:
- An indication of how much pension you will have by the time you retire if you keep accruing.
- How much you will receive if you become disabled and incapable of working.
- What arrangements are in place for your partner and children in the event of your death.
Tip: living together without official status If you are living together without official status, check whether your partner is registered in MijnPPF. If not, they will not be entitled to a survivor’s pension in the event of your death.

“When should I pass on my retirement date, and what is the procedure?” |
— A question that Nicole of our Service Desk is frequently asked —
As soon as you turn 58, you can start deciding when you want to retire. Your retirement age is your decision. You will need to inform Philips Pensioenfonds of what you decide at least 6 months before you want to start drawing your pension.
If you work for Philips or Versuni, your manager will arrange for your chosen retirement age to be registered. If you work for Signify you should discuss your decision with your manager, and then register your chosen retirement age yourself, via HR Services. If you are not currently employed by Philips, Signify or Versuni, you can send us an email with your retirement age.
